This policy explains what Homefynd Ltd collects, why we collect it, and what you can require us to do about it. We are the data controller and registered with the ICO under ZB812774.
Contact details you submit through our enquiry, provider application or careers forms; property access information you choose to share for a booking; technical data including IP address and device type; and, for providers, verification documents such as DBS certificates and insurance schedules.
To respond to your enquiry, to assess a provider application, to deliver a booked service, and to meet our legal obligations around vetting and tax. If you asked to be first to know when we launch, we hold your email and postcode for that single purpose: one message telling you the Homefynd apps are available in your area. That list is not a marketing list, it is never sold or shared, and you can ask us to remove you at any time by emailing concierge@homefynd.co.uk. Where we rely on consent — marketing email, for example — you can withdraw it at any time.
Enquiries are deleted after 24 months. Unsuccessful provider applications are deleted after 12 months. Records relating to completed bookings are retained for six years to satisfy HMRC and insurance requirements.
Entry codes, key-safe numbers and alarm codes are encrypted at rest, released to the assigned provider one hour before the visit, and revoked automatically on completion.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. Write to concierge@homefynd.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
